Get early access to unique games (and pieces of games) to help us reduce bugs, make things more fun, and ensure everyone can learn something valuable by playing. This might be a single mechanic that we're thinking of adding to a game, or an entire game demo that doesn't have art yet. Keep in mind that these games generally won't look particularly good, and we're mostly testing out the mechanics to make sure they're both fun and educational.
Accounts Deceivable
-
A vintage-styled boss-rush adventure where every coin counts, every deal has a cost, and your debt might just kill you.
Brothers Vin and Ledger are on a mission to expunge the cursed debt they were tricked into by the Magician of Means, a conman endowed with magical powers and a hunger for wealth and power at all costs. This 2D platformer adventure is a fun way to learn about basic financial principles and budgeting by experiencing the pain of debt and the rewards of money management.

Vintage cartoon whimsy meets dark magical satire in this take on the burden of debt that so many experience in the modern western world. Defeat those forced by the Magician of Means to do his bidding when they failed to repay their debt, and stop him from harming anyone ever again.

Noah’s Language Adventure*
*Working Title
-
Explore a world in classic RPG fashion, but with a twist: None of the NPCs speak your language. You must learn to communicate with them, develop your community, and help the others escape from the tyranny of their leader.
Set to launch in early access for those learning English in 2025. Plans are to then translate the game to Spanish and any subsequent languages following that.
-
The game is currently being developed as a 2D top-down RPG, with deep relationship building, farming, and crafting, but with resource gathering and combat heavily inspired by roguelike games. You will enter dangerous, procedurally generated dungeons, increasing in difficulty as you level up and advance your gear to retrieve items for your ever growing community to develop deeper relationships and unlock new areas and skills.
-
Learn and practice a language by interacting with NPCs that only communicate in the language that you’re learning. This approach simulates the cultural immersion method of language learning, which has proven to be one of the most effective methods to learn a new language.
Cultural immersion is the process of learning a language by relocating (temporarily or permanently) to an area in which the target language is exclusively spoken. It is difficult, but one of the most effective methods for language acquisition. We aim to simulate that in a controlled environment that only uses the most basic vocabulary of the target language, with sequel games or future updates that progressively incorporate more advanced vocabulary.
